Sonuus FLAME - precision guitar tuner app for iPhone and iPad

The Sonuus FLAME tuner uses the same high-performance, ultra-fast, pitch-measurement technology used in Sonuus acclaimed hardware products, the FLAME tuner gives you a fast, accurate way to tune your guitar whilst making it fun with a unique "flame" tuning display.

FLAME is able to tune most instruments, including guitar and bass guitar, with a wide note detection range spanning from E1 (low E on a 4-string bass) to Bb6 (higher than a 24 fret guitar can play). Chromatic note detection ensures that any note can be tuned, regardless of the tuning of your instrument.

To use FLAME, you can use the built-in microphone but you get much better results by using an adapter that lets you connect your guitar directly to your iPhone, iPod or iPod Touch. For example, the i-ROCK adapter lets you connect your guitar to the mic/headset input.

FLAME works with all iOS devices with OS4.2 and above: from the iPod Touch 2nd Gen to the latest iPhone.

Note1: when a guitar is connected to the microphone input, the lowest guitar notes (around and below A2) may not be detected correctly because most devices have a high-pass filter on this input which rejects the low notes. To avoid this and access the full range of tunable notes, you can use an audio input device that connects to the dock connector instead.

Note2: the FLAME tuner is the same one that is part of the Sonuus G2M app. The FLAME app gives you a lower-cost way to get this unique tuner. If you already have the G2M app, you already have the FLAME tuner.
